The 30th Budapest Nephrology School - Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis, Transplantation, Nephropathology, 24 - 28 August, 2026

Dear Colleagues, 

I am writing to draw your kind attention to the 30th Anniversary Budapest Nephrology School, which will take place August 24–28, 2026, in Budapest, Hungary.

This jubilee 30th edition marks an important milestone for the Budapest Nephrology School, which over the past three decades has become an internationally recognized educational forum bringing together leading experts, clinicians, researchers, and young nephrologists from around the world.

The Budapest Nephrology School is organized by the Hungarian Kidney Foundation and Semmelweis University, the leading university for medicine and health sciences in Hungary. The course offers a comprehensive overview of nephrology, hypertension, dialysis, transplantation, and nephropathology, covering topics from molecular research to everyday clinical practice.

We are honored that world-class experts have accepted our invitation to deliver lectures, including Annette Bruchfeld, Francesco Emma, Jens M. Titze, Alberto Ortiz, Csaba P. Kovesdy, Janos Peti-Peterdi, Georgina Gyarmati, Andrzej Wiecek, Miklos Z Molnar, Andras Tisler, Zoltan Prohaszka, Eva Honsova, Martin Havrda, Vladimir Tesar, Harold Helderman, Simin Goral, Ivan Rychlík, Orsolya Cseprekal, Vilmos Bilicki. Our distinguished faculty will also be present throughout the week, providing valuable opportunities for discussion, networking, and professional collaboration.
