2026 ERA Open Calls: join the official ERA Bodies!
Some vacancies are available to join the ERA Working Groups and Committees and actively contribute to developing research, education and awareness activities in different areas of nephrology. If you want to become a Board Member of an ERA Body, please submit your candidature by March 26, 2026, 23:59 CET.
As of February 2026, all Working Groups and Committees will operate under the umbrella of the ERA Bodies and adhere to the same regulations. Please review the newly released ERA Bodies Regulations.
Please ensure that you have carefully reviewed the updated regulations before applying for a Board Member position within any ERA body.
To apply to become a new ERA Body board member, all the candidates must be ERA Full Active Members and demonstrate adequate expertise or interest in the topic of the Body. IMPORTANT: An individual may serve on the Board of only one ERA Body (either a Working Group or a Committee) at the same time. Multiple applications are not allowed. Industry employees or representatives cannot serve as Board Members.

- Diabesity: 3 vacancies
- ERAKI: 3 vacancies
- ERN: 2 vacancies
- EuDial: 3 vacancies
- G&K: 2 vacancies
- IWG: 2 vacancies
This year, there are no vacancies in the following Working Groups: DESCaRTES, EuReCa-M, and ONCO-ERA.

- Strong Kidneys: 10 vacancies
- Sustainable Nephrology: 10 vacancies
- Young Nephrologists’ Platform: 4 vacancies
